This Privacy Policy explains how Memorial Point, operated by a licensed insurance agent (CA License #4365512) (“Memorial Point,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit our website, request a quote, or communicate with us.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, state, who you are planning for, whether you or the person you are planning for is a veteran, and anything else you choose to share with us.
Information collected automatically. When you use our website, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and similar usage information. We collect this through cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics tools such as Meta Pixel.
How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request and connect you with a licensed insurance agent
- To prepare quotes and help you apply for coverage
- To contact you by phone, text or email as you have agreed
- To operate, secure and improve our website
- To measure and improve our advertising
- To comply with laws and regulations, including insurance regulations
How we share your information
- Licensed agents who work with Memorial Point, so they can contact you about your request
- Insurance carriers, when you choose to apply for coverage, so they can review your application and issue your policy
- Service providers that help us run our business (for example, website hosting, customer relationship management, email and text messaging, and analytics). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others
- Business transfers, if Memorial Point is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some state privacy laws treat the use of advertising cookies and pixels (for example, to show you our ads on social media) as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or as “targeted advertising.” You can opt out of this at any time; see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information below.
We do not share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive text messages with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging
Our website offers two separate, optional consents. Appointment and service messages cover calls, texts and emails about your quote request and the services you asked for, such as appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, follow-ups, document and signature requests, and application and policy updates. Marketing messages cover planning tips, educational content, offers and news about our services; you only receive these if you check that box. Calls and texts may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Agreeing to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and pixels to understand how visitors use our site and to show and measure ads on other platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can adjust your ad preferences in your social media and Google account settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of our site work.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations. Insurance regulations may require us to keep some records for a set number of years.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including its use for targeted advertising, in any of these ways:

- Turn on a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser. We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out for that browser.
You do not need to create an account to opt out, and we will not ask you for more information than we need to process your request. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, and to opt out of certain uses such as targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
You can stop marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email, and stop text messages by replying STOP.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Your continued use of our website after an update means you accept the updated policy.
